Professional Experience

As a postdoctoral doctor, supported by the Japanese Government (Monbusho) Scholarship, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, from Oct.2001 to Oct.2003, carrying out research on virtual reality and visualization in scientific computing.

As a visiting researcher of George Mason University from Aug.2007 to Aug.2008, supported by National Science Foundation of U.S., carrying out research on visualization.

As a senior researcher in CRS4 (fund by Marie-Curie Project) from Oct.2008 to Nov.2009, carrying out research on massive model rendering, visualization and interaction on 3D anatomical human etc.

As an associate Professor of Beijing Normal University from Sep.2000 to now. Supervisor of master students from 2004.

Ph.D. degree in the Department of Applied Mathematics, Zhejiang University, from Sep.1993 to June.1997, carrying out research on Computer Aided Geometric Design & Computer Graphics.

Master Degree in the Department of Computer Science, LanZhou University, from Sep.1990 to June.1993, carrying out research on Computer Algebra.

Bachelor degree in the department of Mathematics, LanZhou University, from Sep.1986 to June.1990.

About 20 papers are published on Lecture Notes in Computer Science, IEEE Computer Society Press (USA), IEICE TRANS.INF.&SYST., Journal of Computational Information System, Chinese Journal Computers(in Chinese), Journal of System Simulation(in Chinese), Journal of Computer-Aided Design and Computer Graphics (in Chinese) and etc.
